Over The Moon Events provided tents, lighting, decor, DJ’s and sound systems for the Summer Ball at the Oxford Union. It was a prestigious event to be involved in as the Union has been the place where weekly debates are held and many famous UK and foreign politicians have learnt the art of debate. The events theme was the Garden of Eden and there was a choice of modern and old, black and white, tribal and urban tents with the courtyard filled with tipi’s, a yurt and a lovely black Intent.

It was the first booking we had for the black Intent and wasn’t she a beauty. This is a tent that cries out for a dancefloor, club type event inside.

We’ve been filming various events over the last two years and have now created some short clips which we’ve posted on http://uk.youtube.com/user/OverTheMoonTents

We have a number of films showing various tents at events. You can see Intents, the Yurt, Tipis, Military Marquee, the inflatable Pod and our Medieval Pavilion Tents.  You may also spot our multi-coloured flags, bunting and pirate theme decor.

Over The Moon Tents supplied stylish Intents to this years Trystonbury mini-festival in Windsor.

The event took place on the first weekend in September a time that saw the country deluged by torrential rains and floods.  It didn’t look good for things on the friday night as we had a sream running through the middle of the tent and water running off in sheets!  We kept the spirits up with the help of the medicinal drink or three and stayed warm and snug in the crew caravan. Fortune smiled on us and the rain abated by midnight and we awoke the next day to some sunshine! The day stayed dry as the rest of England seemed to get more rain.

We got the job done and the event was considered to be the best one yet of the four so far.
